The Beginning

After arriving back from my holiday in Thailand I decided that I would start a blog in order to keep a record of my knitting, spinning and traveling, and that perhaps, somewhere out there, someone else is interested in reading it too.

Firstly, a little about me. I am from the UK but I currently live in China with my husband and have been here for 2 years now. I landed a teaching job in an international school and have not looked back since. It's an interesting life, with many advantages, although it's not always the easiest.

I have been knitting for about 3 years now and spinning for only 1. I support spindle spin only, although do see a wheel in my future at some point. Who knows when that will be though? Like many of you I'm sure, my stash is growing batt by batt and I probably need to spin just a little faster! However, I can confidently say that I have not reached SABLE...yet.

I will leave it at that for now but will share some knitting and spinning with you soon.

Thanks for reading. Here are some photos from my holiday.
